Managing Director
ED GORMAN
Ed is the Manager of two funds, both of which focus on providing affordable homeownership opportunities. The NCRC Housing Rehab Fund and the related GROWTH initiative were launched in 2014 and raised $100 million for investment in low- and moderate-income census tracts or for the benefit of low- and moderate-income people and communities of color. To date, the first fund is responsible for investing in 1,200 properties in 20 cities in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Southeast regions of the US. The second fund, The American Homeownership Innovation Fund (AHIF), launched in March 2023 will deepen the ties established in existing communities and extend into new, previously unserved regions where affordable homeownership remains America’s greatest community priority. Prior to joining NCRC in 2010, Ed led two national organizations focused on workforce training and community development and on health, safety, and environmental concerns for construction union members and their employers
Chief Operating Officer
MICHAEL BARRETT
Michael has more than 20 years of experience in residential home building. Prior to joining GROWTH, he held leadership positions at two of America’s largest builders: NVR and TOUSA. He later joined Stanley Martin Homes (SMH) in 2012 and helped guide the company from a single-market builder to one of the nation’s 20 largest home builders in 2023. During his tenure, the company grew rapidly throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states, with Michael leading the acquisition and integration of multiple companies. With a hands-on approach and over a decade of upper-level management experience, Michael is instrumental in shaping our regional divisions and expanding our footprint. As COO, Michael oversees every aspect of GROWTH's operations, from purchasing and construction to sales, marketing, and beyond. He's instrumental in setting and executing strategic goals among team members and providing support, guidance, and problem-solving across every department within the organization.

DARIA BRUNET
Daria has been with GROWTH since 2013 and has served the organization in a variety of roles. In her current capacity as Executive Vice President of HR and Administration, she oversees investor relations, human resources and technology. With a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence, Daria leads the charge in shaping the company's priorities and initiatives. She is crucial in helping to coordinate and navigate investor relations, fundraising, and fund management. Moreover, as the overseer of GROWTH's hiring processes, Daria ensures the recruitment of top talent to fuel the company's growth. She also manages GROWTH's administrative operations, covering HR, IT, insurance, and office management, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. In the realm of corporate governance, Daria handles various administrative aspects ensuring compliance and efficiency.
