Ed is the Manager of two funds, both of which focus on providing affordable homeownership opportunities. The NCRC Housing Rehab Fund and the related GROWTH initiative were launched in 2014 and raised $100 million for investment in building affordable homes. To date, the first fund is responsible for investing in 1,200 properties in 20 cities in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Southeast regions of the US. The second fund, The American Homeownership Innovation Fund (AHIF), launched in March 2023 will deepen the ties established in existing communities and extend into new regions where affordable homeownership remains America’s greatest community priority. Prior to joining NCRC in 2010, Ed led two national organizations focused on workforce training and community development and on health, safety, and environmental concerns for construction union members and their employers.
Dennis brings over 30 years of expertise in land development, residential construction, and light commercial projects to his role as Senior Vice President of Operations at GROWTH Homes. His career spans extensive experience in custom home building, including his time as Project Manager for an Atlanta-based company, where he led a team of over 50 staff and subcontractors. His experience extends to civil infrastructure, overseeing remodeling and rehabilitation projects in DeKalb County, the City of Atlanta, and underground utility work for MARTA. A results-driven leader, Dennis is passionate about delivering quality construction and creating thriving communities. His commitment to excellence and innovation drives GROWTH Homes’ mission to redefine what’s possible in making homeownership accessible and transforming neighborhoods for the better.
Daria has been with GROWTH since 2013 and has served the organization in a variety of roles. In her current capacity as Executive Vice President of HR and Administration, she oversees investor relations, human resources and technology. With a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence, Daria leads the charge in shaping the company's priorities and initiatives. She is crucial in helping to coordinate and navigate investor relations, fundraising, and fund management. Moreover, as the overseer of GROWTH's hiring processes, Daria ensures the recruitment of top talent to fuel the company's growth. She also manages GROWTH's administrative operations, covering HR, IT, insurance, and office management, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. In the realm of corporate governance, Daria handles various administrative aspects ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Ryan specializes in real estate acquisitions, corporate governance, and contract negotiations. In his previous position at ASH, he led due diligence for builder and land acquisitions while overseeing legal matters and compliance. He also served as General Counsel for Prestige Title and Escrow, managing regulatory compliance and audits. He also worked in private equity at RedZone Capital Management, focusing on loan negotiations and investment analysis. Ryan holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Steven leads GROWTH's Atlanta operations, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Throughout his career, Steven has held key divisional, regional, and corporate roles in finance, land acquisition, architecture, purchasing, and operations for several of the nation’s top 10 public homebuilders. At the corporate level, he managed procurement for more than 20 divisions, contributing to over 125,000 closings and $31 billion in revenue. Regionally, he oversaw production operations across 10 divisions, and at the division level, he has held leadership roles in finance and as a division president. A results-driven leader, Steven is passionate about coaching and mentoring his team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth in the homebuilding industry.
